It’s not us on video, say cops KUALA LUMPUR: Police have denied allegations of detainee abuse allegedly shown in a video clip which has been posted on several blogs. The clip purportedly shows a man being assaulted by several uniformed men in a room. “After viewing the clip, it is clear that the uniforms do not belong to police personnel at all,” said the Bukit Aman police headquarters in a press statement yesterday. Police said concrete steps were being taken to ensure that detainee abuse does not occur.
