February 04, 2009      Categories: News Editors expecting a generous spread of nasi lemak, mee goreng and roti canai were disappointed at a breakfast meeting with Deputy Prime Minster Datuk Seri Najib Razak at his office in Putrajaya yesterday. For on their table were two saucers – one with local kuih and the other filled with two slices of ciku and some jambu air. Breakfast came with tea or coffee and mineral water. "I want my nasi lemak," cried an editor. But what was served was what he would get. "Think Najib is showing the way to a healthier lifestyle?" asked another before Najib stepped in and started discussing the economy. Could this be a sign of the times?
